DHANGADHI: A bomb found in an open field in in Ambasa of Kailali district was defused by Nepal Army on Monday.

A team of Nepal Army personnel deployed from the Boradandi barracks defused the bomb in a field, according to SP Arjun Chand at the Dhangadhi District Police Office.

Police suspected that the explosive might have been planted during decade-long Maoist conflict.
