JAJRKOT: A bomb went off targeting a team of security personnel carrying ballot boxes at Kushe Rural Municipality-1 in Jajarkot district this morning.

According to DSP Bhabesh Rimal at the Jajarkot District Police Office, Shanta Bahadur Basnet, who was carrying the ballot box, has sustained minor injuries. The incident occurred at around 8:00 am today.

Police have suspected Biplav-led Maoist's involvement in the incident.

The ballot boxes are safe and being transported to the Jajarkot district headquarters.
