Border pillars repair starts in Jhapa

BHADRAPUR: A team from the Survey Department in Kathmandu on Thursday started the repair of border pillars in Jhapa.

The team leader Sushil Dangol said that authorities from both Nepal and India started the repair from pillar no 101. The team took care of the repairing and repainting of 103 border pillars, he added.

He also informed that they have started taking stock of the area where Indian people are living on the no man's land, after encroaching the land on Nepal side.

Dangol said that the drive covering the border with India in Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari will last till the end of Nepali month Asadh.
