ACHHAM: A boy died of diarrhoea on Wednesday and health workers here fear of a breakout of the disease as number of diarrhoea patients visiting health centres here are increasing everyday. Dr Purushottam Sedai, chief of the Achham district hospital, said Balu Jaisi of Janali Wandali VDC died of diarrhoea while in hospital.

Two other diarrhoea patients are in a critical condition, the hospital source said. Everyday some 40-50 diarrhoea patients visit the hospital resulting in shortage of beds, Dr Sedai said. Most of the patients are from Mangalsen, Oligaon, Janaliwandali, Birpath.
