DAMAULI: Byas municipality today approved an estimated budget of Rs 173 millions for the fiscal 2015/16 in Tanahun.

The 25th meeting of the Municipal Council held in Damauli endorsed the budget on Thursday.

Promotion of agriculture products and agro-cooperative, managing a new buspark, sanitation management, conservation of public land, conservation of places of historical and cultural significance along with tourism development are said to be the focus of the fiscal projects.

The municipality endorsed Rs 121 million budget.
