DAMAULI: A minor died on the spot after a school bus hit him at Rupakot VDC in Tanahun on Sunday.

The accident occurred when the school bus belonging to Sayapatri Boarding School was en route to Sundarbazaar from Rupakot carrying school children.

The deceased has been identified as four-year-old Ayush Gauli, of the VDC.Irate kin of the deceased have yet to receive the body as they have been demanding stern action against the culprit and compensation.

According to Tanahun District Police Office, though a police team deployed from Area Police Office, Anbukhairani, held talks with the family of the deceased, they failed reach any conclusion as of Sunday evening.
