HETAUNDA: A cyclist died on the spot after being hit by a bus at Ramantar in Makawanpur district on Friday morning.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.

The bus (Na 4 Kha 4675) heading towards Janakpur from Nepalgunj hit the two-wheeler at around 3:30 am.

The body has been kept at the Hetaunda Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
