BHOJPUR: A pedestrian died when a passenger bus hit him in Dharan Municipality-17 of Sunsari on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Sundar Khadka of the same municipality.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the bus (Ko 1 Kha 4144) was heading towards Dharan from Chatara when the accident occurred.

Police have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
