BIRATNAGAR: At least 10 protesters including a Constituent Assembly member were injured when they clashed with security personnel at Road Shesh Chowk in Biratnagar on Wednesday.

The injured include Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal's central member Ram Bilas Yadav, Morang district secretary Rakchhami Kirati, Maheshwar Yadav

and lawmaker Usha Yadav, according to the party's district committee member, Jitendra Yadav.

A clash had erupted after security personnel used force as the protesters obstructed movement of cycle rickshaws at Road Shesh Chowk.

The injured are admitted to the Koshi Zonal Hospital and Golden Hospital in Biratnagar.
