Kathmandu, November 26:

Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF), one of the key partners of the ruling coalition, has condemned the recent arrest of its CA member Sanjay Sah.

The ruling coalition partner has also accused home administration of harassing and falsely indicting its cadres across Madhes.

A press release issued by MJF parliamentary office here today accused the home administration of harassing its cadres at the behest of Home Minister.

MJF has stated that Sah had gone to Dhanusha police to plead for the release of Baiju Shah but the police arrested Sah without any cause.

“The DSP of Dhanusha police arrested our CA member without an arrest warrant. The police action has mocked the spirit of the democratic system and the rule of law,” the MJF release reads. MJF has demanded action against the authorities that took CA member Sah in police custody without any ground.
