KATHMANDU, JUNE 9
Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, expanded the cabinet on Sunday.
Province Chief Sumitra Devi Bhandari appointed Tribhuvan Saha as the Minister for Forest and Environment and Mohammad Sakil Minya as a minister without portfolio upon the recommendation of Chief Minister Singh. They belong to the Janamat Party.
Meanwhile, Minister without portfolio Ranju Kumari Mandal Khanga has been assigned the role of Minister of State for Forest and Environment. Minister Saha was elected from constituency no. 4 (a) of Siraha. The Province Chief administered the oath of office and secrecy to them on Sunday.
With this expansion, the Madhesh Cabinet now has 13 members, including three ministers of state.
