Four critically injured in Palpa tipper accident

KATHMANDU: Four persons have been critically injured after a tipper fell some 200 metres down the road at Bhalayabas in Tinau Rural Municipality-3 of Palpa district on western Nepal on Sunday afternoon.

The injured include tipper driver, his wife, and their five-year-old son, and the driver's assistant, according to Sub-Inspector Rajaram Kurmi.

The injured were rescued and sent to the Butwal-based Lumbini Zonal Hospital for treatment.

They are said to be residents of Tinau-6.

The incident site is 30 km away from the district headquarters Tansen, SI Kurmi informed.
