KATHMANDU: President Bidha  Devi Bhandari on Wednesday directed Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi  Prasad Yadav to hold provincial and the parliamentary elections on the  stipulated dates. During the meeting held at the Office of the  President, the head of the state expressed satisfaction with the EC’s  poll preparations. “There is no confusion about elections. No need to be  suspicious, we are with you, move ahead,” the president told CEC Yadav,  according to a press release issued EC Spokesperson Navaraj Dhakal.  Yadav briefed the president about the EC’s election preparations. He  told her that printing of separate ballot papers for provincial and the  parliamentary first-past-the post-elections had continued after the SC  issued order to ensure separate FPTP ballot papers. — HNS
