‘Change demarcation’
BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi on Wednesday opined that the Tarai crisis should be resolved immediately even if it involves changing the demarcation of provinces.
Speaking at a programme in Belbari, Morang, Nidhi said the problem must be settled even if it means carving out two provinces in the Tarai.
He added that immediate settlement of the Tarai crisis was indispensable for implementation of the newly promulgated constitution.
He claimed that the country would get a solution within a few days as talks between Nepali Congress and agitating Madhesi parties were positive.
