Chairman of Nepal Chepang Association (NCA) Govindaram Chepang has demanded formation of an autonomous Chepang region.

Inaugurating the first district conference of NCA in Damauli yesterday, Chepang, also a Constituent Assembly member, said that autonomous Chepang region should be formed by incorporating 29 VDCs of four districts.

“Six VDCs of Dhading, five of Gorkha, six of Chitwan and eight of Makwanpur should be included in the autonomous Chepang region,” he said.
