POKHARA: A two and a half-year-old infant drowned in an underground water tank in Shree Nagar Tole in Baglung Municipality on Sunday.

Sumitra Karki, toddler Sampanna Karki's mother discovered him inside the tank at their residence at around 12:00 pm.

Locals rushed the child to Dhaulagiri Hospital where he breathed his last while ongoing treatment, Gandaki State Police informed.
