PARBAT: A nine-year-old child was critically injured after being struck by a lightning at Chitre VDC in the district on Friday evening.

According to the District Police Office, Parbat, Sunil BK was seriously injured in the incident.

He was rushed to the District Hospital, Parbat, for treatment, which later referred him to the Gandaki Hospital, Pokhara, police informed.
