Chinese Minister Zhang calls on PM Dahal
KATHMANDU: Visiting Chinese Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce Zhang Mao has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at latter's official residence in Baluwatar on Friday.
On the occasion, PM Dahal expressed pleasure as an agreement on intellectual property protection was signed between the two countries during the Chinese Minister's Nepal visit.
According to PM Dahal's press advisor Govinda Acharya, Dahal had shared that such visit would help further strengthen bilateral relations which both countries are enjoying since long.
Prime Minister Dahal, praising China's 'One belt: One road' (OBOR), a developmental roadmap, expressed confidence that Nepal could get benefit from it.
Similarly, Minister Zhang expressed pleasure as bilateral projects were smoothly moving ahead, adding that Chinese companies were getting anĀ appropriate working environment in Nepal.
British ambassador Morris calls on PM Dahal
Meanwhile, British ambassador to Nepal Richard Morris also paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dahal at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar, on Friday.
According to PM Dahal's Secretariat, they held discussions on bilateral relations and mutual benefits in the meeting.
