Chitwan entrepreneurs take out peaceful rally against short supply

They said their business has been hit hard due to the acute shortage of essentials goods, industrial raw materials and petroleum products due to the unofficial blockade at the Indo-Nepal border point.

This has compelled the entrepreneurs to come to the streets to protest the difficult situation prevailing in the nation, they added.

People from various walks of life, professionals, students, civil society members, entrepreneurs and locals took part in the rally waiving the national flag and   placards demanding the implementation of transport-related agreements to ease supply of essentials.

They also demanded that all foreign forces stop intervention in Nepal.

Speaking at the corner meeting, Kalyan Joshi, President of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, urged the government to find a diplomatic solution to this problem.
