CHITWAN, APRIL 24
District Police Office, Chitwan, has detained 113 individuals during a 12-hour sweep operation conducted from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday.
According to the Chitwan police, those detained include individuals involved in drug peddling and consumption, persons consuming intoxicants and creating public disturbances, and those forcibly grabbing bags and belongings of passengers against their will.
Police also arrested individuals obstructing service delivery at various government offices, as well as motorcyclists found altering vehicle structure and causing noise pollution.
Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Rabindra Khanal said further investigation is underway.
