KATHMANDU: Two persons who had gone missing after a swollen Riu Khola swept them away were found dead in Madi of Chitwan on Saturday.

The deceased are 55-year-old Bishnu Adhikari and 35- Kalpana Thapa, police said. They were residents of Bagahi, Madi.

They were returning home after grazing cattle yesterday when flash floods in the local river, bordering Chitwan National Park, swept them away.
