RAMECHHAP, APRIL 3
Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said people have to be very careful while choosing their representatives during the election.
"Elections are times when people can get to exercise their power, power to reject candidates who won't be good for the position and the country.
So this is the time when people have to exercise their power and right very judiciously, so that they don't regret later," said the NC leader.
"While voting for a candidate, I'm confident that you'll think over whether the party has made good on its past promises or not and how well has it performed lately," he told the audience.
Thapa also criticised CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, accusing him of pushing the country into instability.
"Clearly, the people had handed him the rein to run the country for five years by giving him majority, but he (Oli) let the people down by pushing the country into crisis," he said.
Thapa was speaking, while inaugurating Agleshwor Mahadev temple in Manthali Municipality, Ramechhap, today.
The temple was built at a cost of four million rupees managed from donors and locals and the municipality.
