CIAA arrests NCDC accountant with kickback
KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today arrested an accountant of National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), Bhaktapur on the charge of taking bribe money from a service seeker.
Accountant Guna Raj Dahal was arrested along with Rs 25,000 bribe money received from a service seeker, CIAA said.
Dahal had allegedly asked bribe for preparing social studies and science subjects of Grade 6 in symbols and visuals as per the understanding reached with National Federation of the Deaf, Nepal.
CIAA Spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal said that further investigation into the case was underway.
Similarly, the CIAA had filed a case of corruption against Assistant Sub-Inspector at the District Police Office-Tanahu, Nir Bahadur Adhikari, at the Special Court on the charge of submitting a fake academic certificate for his job.
