KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has reportedly arrested two non gazetted officers at the Land Survey Office in Banke district while taking Rs 4,98,000 bribe from a service seekers on the pretext of verifying land for selling purpose recently.

In a statement today, CIAA said, two non-gazetted class officers Maan Bahadur KC and Nar Bahadur Saru Magar were arrested with bribe on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, a CIAA team from an extended office in Kohalpur of Banke district apprehended the duo red-handed while they were taking bribe at a local meat shop in Dhamboji of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.
