KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed a charge sheet at the Special Court against Prakash Acharya, an Account Officer at the Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE).

Acharya was earlier arrested while taking bribe from a service seeker.

He allegedly had sought Rs 10,000 as kickback for the refunding of money that a manpower company had deposited at DoFE.

The CIAA indicted Acharya of graft as per the Section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 2002 and sought maximum punishment against him as per the Act.
