ILAM: Civil Service Day is being celebrated across the nation by organising various programmes on Tuesday.

The day is being celebrated by honouring best employees and distributing fruits and nutritious food to patients at the District Hospital in Ilam.

Chief District Officer and chief guest Bishnu Kumar Karki honoured the best employees by offering traditional ceremonial scarfs (khada).

Dharvendra Nath Bhattrai, a retired clerk from the District Administration Office, Nita Dhimal Midwife of the Health Post at Chisapani, Nitananda Ghimire, non gazette officer (subba) of the District Administration Office, Prakash Mani Kafle Section Officer  of the District Agricultural Development Office and Khadag Bahadur Raya Assistant Officer of the KOLINICA were fecilated on the occasion of the Civil Service Day.

Like wise, the day is being observed by organising inter service completion among government employees in Palpa.

Similarly, a rally comprising intellectuals, local businessmen and civil servants was taken out in Myagadi on the occasion,

Retired civil servants Kendra Bahadur KC subba of Land Revenue Office and Bhagwati Kumar Shrestha office assistant of District Education office were honored during the occasion.
