KATHMANDU: Rights activist and CNN Hero Anuradha Koirala joined the Nepali Congress on Sunday.

According to a press release issued by Prime Minister Sher  Bahadur Deuba’s Press Secretariat, PM Deuba, who is also the president  of Nepali Congress, welcomed Koirala into the party.

Koirala said only an NC-led government could achieve the goals of economic growth and  prosperity in the country.
