KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Pyar Jung Thapa, on Sunday left for Bangkok to attend a four-day Pacific Armies Chiefs’ Conference, being organised by the Royal Thai Army and US Army. Army chiefs and vice-chiefs 23 countries of the region are participating in the conference. According to RNA’s Directorate of Public Relations, Gen Thapa will hold meetings with counterparts, including those from India and US, and discuss security-related matters. — HNS
