BHOJPUR: Minister for Information and Communication Technology Sher Dhan Rai said that the Working Journalist Act would be fully implemented in the country.

Responding to a call of attention by the journalists working in Bhojpur district, Minister Rai said that he was in the process of implementing the Act based on the proposal of the Minimum Wage Fixing Committee.

Further, Rai vowed to end malpractices surfaced in the media sector by propounding a clear transparent media policy.

He assured to grow the expertise of professional journalists by establishing a mass communication academy.

The government respects and promotes press freedom and the discussions to maintain the proportional advertisement are underway, said Minister Rai, also the government spokesperson.
