Consensus within few days, says Dahal
POKHARA: UCPN-Maoist Chairman and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday said that the current political crises and the supply of goods would ease soon after the success of dialogues between the government and United Democratic Madhesi Front.
Dahal informed that the parties were near to the consensus about giving an authority to a political mechanism for demarcating the federal provinces and sorting out other differences by amending the Constitution.
Talking with media persons in Pokhara of Kaski, Dahal informed that the death of three people in a police firing in Rangeli of Morang district would not affect the dialogues between the ruling coalition and the UDMF.
He was in the district to impart training to the district leaders and cadres.
Speaking at a press conference, Dahal informed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was not an obstacle to the talks. Rather he is the one who forwarded the Constitution Amendment Bill in the Parliament.
The political parties are ready to have at least one electoral constituency in each district on the basis of population, he assured.
