JAJARKOT: A Police Constable was suspended for rape attempt against a 14-year-old girl in the district, on Friday.

Constable Hari Bahadur Khadka had attempted to rape the girl of Khalanga Rana village on April 26 while he was on duty.

Khadka was deployed at the Jajarkot District Police Office when the incident occurred.

Police said that investigation into the incident was underway.
