Corruption has crossed limit, says Koirala
Khotang, September 25
Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Sashank Koirala today charged that corruption had exceeded all limits in the country.
Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union, Khotang, in Diktel, Koirala charged that country was mired in corruption in every sector.
“The country has three tiers of the government and corruption is rampant at all levels of the government,” Koirala said. He added that corruption had swallowed the country. He urged the government to take immediate steps to contain the malpractice.
Koirala alleged that the incumbent government had failed to formulate policy and plan to usher in prosperity in the country. He slammed the government for distributing dreams of rail and ship while citizens were reeling under acute shortage of drinking water.
