Country at the end of political transition: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the country is at the end of political transition as all level elections are on verge of completion.

He further said completion of elections would pave the way for the implementation of constitution and federalism in the nation.

Issuing an appeal on Tuesday, Prime Minister Deuba said country has now reached to an end of political transition as the election of local-level has already been held and process related to the election of the House of Representatives and State Assemblies has also begun.

PM Deuba said Nepal is now amidst the joy of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies scheduled for November 26 and December 7 respectively.

To head the country towards the decisive path of economic prosperity within a few years, all democrats should make it a national agenda for achieving common goal, reads the appeal.

Saying strengthening democratic rule of law and rapid economic development are now the first priority of the nation, PM Deuba said time has come for all democratic forces to come together.
