CPN-UML can solve crisis, says Nepal

General secretary (GS) of CPN-UML and main opposition party leader in parliament Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that in this crucial period if all political parties in the parliament become ready to help his party to form the government; they will solve the burning Maoists problem.

GS Nepal said this while inaugurating the 4th district convention of CPN-UML Rautahat District Development Committee. Addressing the programme he also claimed that no any political parties except CPN-UML could solve this problem. The people in the country are feeling many crises as well as insecurity due to inefficiency of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) Party and ultra-leftists principle of Maoists, said he.

From one side Maoists are destroying the infrastructures of the development along with some indispensable services to the people, on the other hand government announces the people cut the heads of Maoists and is ready to invite foreign security troops in the country in the name of controlling the insurgency, he added.

GS Nepal criticised both of them for doing so. “While the country is going through such sensitive situation, NC is busy in dealing with its own internal conflicts. NC government is not working under the guidance of the party.

Focusing over bad governance, corruption, unemployment problem that are increasing day after day he said the government is not so serious to solve these very problems. He called upon Maoists to come in the main stream politics by avoiding violent activities.

They should also be responsible for the nation’s problem because the destruction of development infrastructure leads the country towards backward. Now the government has fixed the rate of the heads of the maoists terrorists, which is not only against the present constitution but also against the human rights. No one has the right to fix the price of head either they are alive or dead. It is totally nonsense of the government, he blamed.

The only solution to come up is the amendment of constitution, stressed he. he called upon all the political parties to give their support so that CPN-UML could lead the country.

The programme presided by Hari Ghimire, secretary of DDC Rautahat in which central member of CPN-UML Kashinath Adhikari, secretary of Narayani Zone Coordination Committee Ranadhwaj Kandangwa, secretary of Bara DDC Achut Mainali, Hridaya Narayan Yadav of NC, Yugal Kishor Chaudhary of Nepal Sadbhawana Party and Satya Narayan Singh of Rastriya Prajatantra Party were also present.
