UML leader Nepal to attend conference in Iran
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has left for Iran to participate in the International Conference of Asian Political Parties.
He left here on Wednesday for the Iranian capital, Tehran, to attend the conference.
The conference — taking place on February 2 and 3 — will have participants from more than 300 political parties from Asia, informed Bishnu Rijal, Chief of UML publicity department.
In the conference, leader Nepal will apprise the delegates of the participating countries about the country's political situation, according to Rijal.
He is scheduled to return home on February 5.
