CPN-UML secures 27 Upper House seats
Kathmandu, February 8
The Election Commission today unveiled the final result of the National Assembly election held yesterday.
According to the EC, the CPN-UML won 27 NA seats, the Nepali Congress won 13, the CPN-MC 12 and the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal and the Federal Socialist Forum–Nepal won two seats each.

The EC stated that the UML won five seats in Province 1, one in Province 2, five in Province 3, three in Province 4, four in Province 5, five in Province 6 and four in Province 7.
The NC won two seats in each of provinces 1, 2 3, 5 and 7 and three seats in Province 4.
The CPN-MC won one seat in each of provinces 1, 2 and 3 and two seats in each of provinces 4, 5 and 7 and three seats in Province 6. The FSF-N and RJP-N won two seats each in Province 2.
