Cross Inspection: 112 employees found absent at 21 govt offices in Tanahun
DAMAULI: As many as 112 government employees were found absent at 21 government offices in Tanahun district today.
The government staffers at federal and provincial level government offices were found absent during a cross inspection conducted by a team led by Tanahun Chief District Officer (CDO) Rudra Prasad Adhikari this afternoon.
The list of absentees includes three staffers at Survey Office, 39 at Damauli Hospital, three at Tanahun Veterinary Hospital and Animal Specialist Centre, three at Agriculture Knowledge Centre, four at Province Road Division Office, five at Prime Minister Agriculture Modernisation Project (Vegetable Zone).
Further, two staffers at District Project Implementation Unit, five including the chief at Education Training Centre, nine including the chief at Road Division Office Organisation, three at District Prison Office, and one at Drinking Water and Sanitation Division were absent during the CDO's cross inspection.
Moreover, 10 staffers at Geology and Water Resources Management Office, one at Water Source and Irrigation Development Division, two at Education Development and Coordination Unit, eight including the chief at Cottage and Small Industry Office, seven at District Post Office, three at Land Revenue Office, four at Inland Revenue Office were absent.
The team also checked the attendance registers of the staffers from August 18 to 21. The CDO has issued a directive to the chief of the offices to seek clarification and take actions against the staffers who were found to be on leave without notice and leaving office without prior information.
The team had also checked the dress code, bearing of identity cards and the cleaning regularities in the offices.
The CDO committed to carrying out the cross inspection programmes regularly as per the Good Governance and Regularities Act.
