Janakpurdham, January 17:

Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani are to arrive Janakpurdham on January 25.

Security sources said they are scheduled to perform pooja at the Janaki temple on January 25 and inaugurate the newly built stadium in Jaleshwor, Mahottari’s district headquarters, the same day.

The information of the royal visit was given in the meeting being chaired by Janakpur zonal administrator Janak Jangali, today, said a participant in the meeting. The royal couple are visiting Janakpur for the first time. They will leave for Jaleshwor after performing pooja in the Janaki temple, the sources said.

The stadium is built with the active initiation of the district sports development committee with support from the Jaleshwor municipality and the National Sports Council. The source also said the royal couple are also likely to visit the Jaleshwornath Mahadev temple. They will return to the capital on the same day.

In the meeting, discussions were held relating to preparation for welcoming the royal couple in Dhanusha and Mahottari. The meeting was participated in by the district based security officials and administrative officials.
