DHANGADI: The curfew that was lifted for a day on Wednesday was clamped in Dhangadi again on Thursday. Dhangadi has seen curfew since August 24. In view of the Teej festival, DAO had lifted the curfew for a day.

Though prohibitory order still stayed put, the administration allowed religious programmes from 6:00am to 6:pm on Wednesday. Curfew was clamped from 12 noon to 3:00pm on Thursday. Ever since the clash in Tikapur, DAO has clamped curfew in Tikapur and Dhangadi municipalities and 10 other adjoining VDCs.
