GAUSHALA: The District Administration Office, Mahottari has lifted the indefinite curfew that it had clamped in Balawa and Banauta areas including Jaleshwar for three hours today. The prohibitory orders were issued for an indefinite period beginning 8 am on Wednesday. The curfew has been lifted from 6 to 9 am today, said the Chief District Officer Deepak Kafle. He said the order has been lifted to allow people to buy daily essential goods. The local administration had imposed curfew in view of the escalating violence following the death of three protesters in police firing on Wednesday.
