Baglung, May 1:

The District Administration Offices (DAOs) of Parbat and Myagdi today lifted curfew that had been in place for four years. In separate notices, the DAOs said the curfew, which was in force in the districts from 8 pm to 4 am daily, was lifted from today. However, authorities in Baglung are yet to lift the curfew though its timing has been reduced.

Meanwhile, our correspondent from Mahendranagar said the local administration today lifted curfew in the Mahendranagar municipality area. However, curfew clamped within 500 metre

areas on the Mahendra highway will remain in force. Curfew at Jhalari, Krishnapur, Suda, Daiji and Pipalamadi areas along the highway is still in force from 11 pm to 3 am.
