RAUTAHAT: A cycle rider was killed after being hit by an India-registered jeep in Gaur of Rautahat on Monday morning. Umesh Prasad Yadav, 37, of Dharmapur-1 was hit by the jeep at Mudaulawa along the Gaur-Gangapipara-Rajaiya road section in Sirsiya of Gaur Municipality. According to District Police Office, Rautahat, Yadav was en route to Gaur on a cycle when the speeding vehicle hit him, killing him on the spot.
