KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae held a meeting with UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's residence in Lazimpat on Tuesday morning.

During the meeting, former Prime Minister Dahal urged Rae to end the blockade as soon as possible.

On the occasion, the duo discussed blockade at border points and progress on talks with the agitating Madhes-centric parties.

In response, Ambassador Rae said that obstructions at the border points would end soon if the major parties reached an agreement with the agitating parties.
