NEPALGUNJ: The Banke District Administration Office on Friday provided Rs 1 lakh to the family of Setu BK, who was killed on Tuesday during the ongoing movement for democracy. Chief District Officer Binod Kumar Adhikari handed over the cash to Putali BK, a member of

Setu’s family, in the presence of human rights activists. Employees of Nepal Telecom also provided Rs 5,000 for Setu’s children.

Meanwhile, Padam Bhattarai, acting director of the Bheri Cooperative contributed Rs 3,055 to the democratic relief fund on behalf of all employees. The Mechi-Koshi Sewa Samaj too added Rs 1,500 to the fund.
