SARLAHI: Demanding immediate appointment of LDO, staffers at the District Development Committee Sarlahi have halted official works for eighth day in a row. Puskarmani Ghimire, communication officer at the DDC said post of LDO has been lying vacant for a long time. He added that they were compelled to halt services as they faced pressure from service seekers. Ministry of Local Development is yet to make an appointment after the transfer of former LDO Bishnuraj Lamichhane three months ago.
