CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli said that the second meeting of the party's central committee on Sunday had selected the best leadership and thus everyone should accept the decisions of the meeting.
Addressing the central committee meeting at Bhaktapur, Oli urged all the new elected CC members and politburo members to move ahead, acknowledging the party's unification as their mantra. Oli said, "Unity among us will lead to victory in the coming elections.
We should also chant the mantra of unity and we will entrust one and all with responsibilities."
He said that altogether 900 names were recommended to him for central committee members.
According to him, it was difficult for the new party leadership to select the best of the best for the politburo, according to Oli, over 50 per cent of the names that were recommended were deserving ones.
