Senior Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel has stressed the need to depoliticise development endeavours.
Speaking at a programme here today, the leader was confident that the country would see significant pace of development if there was collective approach towards that end. He insisted on the need of concerted efforts of people, political parties, and local and federal governments to expedite development works.
He took time to underscore the need to create jobs within the village to encourage youth force to seek employment locally and prevent a large exodus of youths from villages in search of job opportunities.
According to the NC leader, an electoral alliance for the upcoming elections will be forged on the basis of needs.
He claimed that doubts over the MCC compact were gradually being cleared as the people had started knowing about its potential benefits.
