Dhankuta, August 4

District Land Revenue Office, Dhankuta, has started providing services through online system from today.

The office has introduced online system to deliver quick, easy and hassle-free services. With the launch of online system, service seekers can now access information regarding their land through mobile application.

Land Revenue Office Chief Jit Man Gimi said that they had started the online system with the aim of providing quick, effective and transparent service.

Director General Gokarna Mani Duwadee from the Department of Land Management and Archives inaugurated the online system by providing land revenue registration number to land seller Karna Bahadur Tamang and buyer Laxmi Tamang of Dhankuta Municipality.

Duwadee said that online system would save service seekers time. “Online system will prevent service seekers from being cheated,” he added. Duwadee informed that with the new system in place, no one could cheat people while purchasing or selling land. He informed that the Ministry of Land Reform and Management had launched online system at 78 land revenue offices in the country.
