Division Road Office starts tarmacking road with investment of Rs 50m in Dhading
DHADING: Blacktopping of road has started in Dhading district headquarters Dhadingbesi of Nilkantha Municipality.
The Division Road Office, Bharatpur in Chitwan district under its annual programme, with the investment of Rs 50 million started blacktopping seven-kilometre road in Dhading district. The road office has started using asphalt technology this time since the road that had already been tarmacked a few years ago has now begun cracking and developing potholes.
"Although the road office had planned to tarmac the road last year, the tarmacking delayed since the municipality could not carry out the construction of roadside ditch and pavement on time," the Road Department's site incharge Arjun Sapkota said.
It has been planned to tarmac the main road from Siran Bazar to Puchhar Bazaar, Pulchowk will be tarmacked. the road to Hospital Road via Trivenichowk from the main market and another road to UMLchok via Milan Tole, Paharechautara, Shanta Bazar, Pragati Tole crossing Arunkhola bridge and further towards Ganesh temple, Shanta Bazar Chok, petrol Pump and returning to UMLChok via the Buspark, Sapkota said.
The main road will be tarmacked in the width of eight metres while the inner road stretch will have the width of five metres, the site incharge said.
