DOLPA: A child drowned in the Thulo Bheri River on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as the nine-year-old Himal Shahi of Narku-3.

Shahi had gone to fish in the River when he got swept away by the strong water flow.

Police and locals had toiled for five hours to recover his body from the River, informed DSP Sumit Khadka at the Dolpa District Police Office.
